Building and Training Leaders
Ivan
takes your leaders on a road that allows them to understand why and how
they have been placed in this role of leadership. He encourages the
student leaders to embrace the leadership torch that has been passed
down. He helps them understand that every great leader must serve and
that the act of service is the key to leadership. Student leaders will
leave this training motivated and ready to lead.

Empowering Middle & High School Students
Ivan has
addressed high school and middle school students from Chicago to
Virginia. Hundreds of students have sat captivated as Ivan has inspired
and motivated them to aspire to be more than what they ever dreamed. He
uses a unique style of abstracting lyrics and everyday adolescent
language to empower them with old school values and work ethic. Whether
he is speaking to disenfranchised students or students that have been
blessed with privileges, Ivan will encourage and motivate them same to
reach their maximum potential. He is a dynamic speaker, your students
will beg for him to return.
He simply is a must have for all of
your school assemblies, pep rallies and any and every school function
where student groups are gathered. They will leave inspired. One
student said “I would love to have played for his team and I believe I
would have been good. Even though I never played basketball a day in my
life he makes me feel like I can do anything”.

Raising Future Leaders (Elementary Talks)
Ivan will have these future leaders using there hands and feet to express themselves in a meaningful way. He helps the little guys understand the concept of leadership by placing an emphasis on many of the values that teachers and parents enforce daily. They love him. He gets them involved with his talks and teaches them how to embrace leadership at an early age. Get ready to cover your ears because Ivan has those little future leaders chanting and reciting catch phrases that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
Building a Powerful Team In-Service for Teacher
Coach Ivan C. Thomas is a master at building a team. He uses similar techniques that he used to build a State Champion Basketball Team at T. C. Williams High School, to inspire Teachers to build academic achieving teams in their classroom. His thought is that life is composed of different teams. A school is one team with hundreds of different individuals that must function as one in order to be successful. He gives teachers, counselors and administrators motivating practices that will allow individual parts to function as one heart beat. If the pulse of the school is our children then the heart must beat as one in order for our youth to grow academically and socially. Educators must be the heart and life line of our school. We must be motivated and armed to teach our youth how to be resilient. He educates the educators, both old and new teachers how to motivate the unmotivated.
