Congratulations on leading your team to the state championship as well as all of the additional personal and team accolades that continue to be announced every day! The way you inspired those boys all the way through the championship game is practically legendary. Danielle still talks about your speech during the pep rally and your “one team-one heartbeat” metaphor. I swear if you were passing out Kool-Aid you would have had a whole gym full of takers! And near the end of the championship game when you took Josh out and hugged and talk to him, she said she so wanted to be Josh and have you say to her whatever you said to him. Everyone dreams about having a coach like you that inspires them to achieve more than they even dreamed of. Thanks so much for sharing what you’ve got with all of us.

Thank you for taking the time to speak our middle school students today. Your message of having self-pride and respect for yourself and others was truly amazing. You not only stressed to our young middle school students the importance of these qualities but you did so in a manner which they understood and could relate to. I introduced myself at the banquet but I'm sure you still might not have the slightest idea who I am. My name is Christa Clarke, the girl who thinks your speech was amazing! LOL! I asked you if anyone recorded your speech and you said that I can just email you and you will email me the speech... so that's what I'm doing. I really think the whole speech was cleverly put together and I loved how you quoted today's most popular songs when encouraging us to reach our potential and leave our haters alone. Honestly, your speech was the best speech I ever heard from the guest speakers at the banquet because it was down to earth and it wasn't like you were talking at us but instead to us! I'm sure my fellow LINK students appreciated your speech as much as I did!
